Scope: All employees, contractors, interns, and third-party collaborators (collectively, “Team Members”) of Son Loves Studios.

All artwork, photography, designs, and other creative assets, including but not limited to original paintings (watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, ink), digital designs, sketches, written blog content, artist statements, photographs of artwork, and promotional materials (collectively, the “Works”) created by Tamara Thomson, produced for Son Loves Studios, or showcased by Son Loves Studios, remain the exclusive intellectual property and property of Tamara Thomson and/or Son Loves Studios.

All Works are protected by United States and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, publication, display, or creation of derivative works from these Works is strictly prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement. All images are to be protected strictly by Tamara Thomson and Son Loves Studios.

All Team Members acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the protection of the Studio’s Intellectual Property (IP):

• Non-Ownership / No Implied Rights: Participation in the marketing, curation, administration, or production of any materials for the Studio does not grant any Team Member any ownership rights, license, or usage rights to any Works unless explicitly granted in writing by Tamara Thomson or Son Loves Studios.
• Work-Made-For-Hire: Any creative assets (social media graphics, copy, or designs) produced by Team Members specifically for Son Loves Studios during the course of their engagement are considered “works-made-for-hire” and are the sole property of the Studio.
• No Personal Portfolio / External Marketing Use Without Consent: Team Members may not use, post, display, reproduce, or otherwise include any Works (including images of artwork, behind-the-scenes photos/videos, designs, drafts, or promotional assets) in personal portfolios, case studies, reels, websites, social channels, or any external marketing/advertising without prior written consent from Tamara Thomson or Son Loves Studios.
• Confidentiality: Team Members must maintain the confidentiality of non-public business information, including upcoming exhibition details, client lists, and proprietary artistic techniques developed within the Studio.

The Works of Son Loves Studios are to be used strictly for authorized marketing and gallery operations.

• Internal Access: Team Members are granted access to high-resolution files solely for the purpose of fulfilling their job duties (e.g., social media management, website updates).
• Prohibited External Use: No Works may be shared, sold, or licensed to third parties without express written consent from Tamara Thomson. 
• AI Restriction: Team Members are strictly prohibited from uploading any Studio Works, sketches, or text into Artificial Intelligence (AI) generators, LLMs, or machine learning databases for the purpose of “training” or “generation” without a formal licensing agreement.
• Attribution: All external shares on social media must include proper credit to Tamara Thomson and Son Loves Studios.

Team Members are encouraged to remain vigilant for unauthorized use of the Studio’s Works online. If a potential infringement is identified (e.g., unauthorized prints, stolen digital files, or uncredited reposts), it must be reported immediately to the Owner for legal review.

To ensure comprehensive legal compliance and protection, Son Loves Studios shall maintain and utilize the following documents in its standard operations:

A. Digital & Website Compliance

• Website Terms of Service: Governs the use of sonlovestudios.com and outlines the IP rights of the artist to site visitors.
• Privacy Policy: Ensures compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM regarding the collection of collector data and email marketing.
• Cookie Policy: Discloses tracking technologies used for marketing and analytics.

B. Sales & Collections

• Certificate of Authenticity: A legal document signed by the artist to accompany all sold works, verifying the piece’s origin and protecting its secondary market value.
• Bill of Sale / Fine Art Purchase Agreement: Outlines the terms of sale, price, delivery, and the retention of copyright by the artist post-sale (preventing the buyer from reproducing the work).
• Commission Agreement: Specific terms for custom works, including deposit requirements and approval stages.

C. Exhibitions & Partnerships

• Artist-Gallery Consignment Agreement: Defines the relationship, commission splits, and insurance responsibilities when Works are displayed in third-party galleries.
• Licensing Agreement: Required if the Studio’s designs are to be used by corporate buyers, interior designers, or product manufacturers.
• Model/Property Release: Necessary if any human subjects or specific private properties are depicted in the Studio’s photographic or painted works.

D. Internal Management

• Independent Contractor Agreement: Formalizes the IP ownership and confidentiality terms for any freelance team members (Social Media Managers, Web Developers, etc.).
• Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): For use during sensitive negotiations with potential corporate partners or investors.

Authorization

By continuing their engagement with Son Loves Studios, all Team Members agree to abide by the policies outlined in this document. Failure to comply may lead to termination of the professional relationship and potential legal action.
